Procedure documentation Displaying the “Last Changed By” User in SMQR and SMQS  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In transactions SMQR (QIN Scheduler) and SMQS (QOUT Scheduler), you can double click on the type of an entry to display the user who last changed the entry. This can help you during troubleshooting.

Procedure

You use this transaction to display the status of the QIN Scheduler, and register or deregister a queue or destination.

Result

The scheduler can have the following statuses:

BATCHJOB SCHEDULED

The scheduler has scheduled a background job.

ACTIVE

The scheduler is active.

INACTIVE

The scheduler is not active.

WAITING

The scheduler is waiting for free work processes.

SYSFAIL

System failure: The scheduler is not functioning correctly.

CPICERR

Communication failure: The scheduler is not functioning correctly.

If the scheduler is active, the status is updated every two minutes. Every change of status automatically causes an update, to show that the scheduler is active.

Note The QIN Scheduler normally processes all the registered queues using all the application servers on the local SAP system (the AS group DEFAULT). However, you also have the option of determining which of these application servers are used. You can either specify a group in SM59 by choosing RFC à RFC Group, or directly in RZ12. You can also specify this group in transaction SMQR by choosing Edit à Change AS Group.
