Note that in interactive and print scenarios (for which the properties templateSource and dataSource are filled), Adobe Document Services must be available so that the form can be generated.

Various test programs are available to test the settings and connection to Adobe Document Services. The procedure is described in SAP Note 999998.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer

Versions 8.0 and higher are supported.

When upgrading to a higher LiveCyle Designer version, also refer to the information about downward compatibility in Note 1317925.

Adobe Reader on the Client (Browser)

Readers as of Version 7.0.9 are supported.

Language Settings

To be able to display the form in the language you require, you have to specify a combination of language and country (locale) as well as ensure that the necessary translations are available.

The logon language of the system is used as the language.

You can specify the country in your user profile (transaction SU52) on tab page Parameters. Enter UCN as the Parameter ID and enter the short code of the required country as the Parameter Value (use the notation in the second column of table T005). Then save your entries.
