Registering Queues 

Use

You must register the queues used by the Integration Engine so that all inbound and outbound messages can be processed.

You can also navigate to the message monitor for the Integration Engine from queue management.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the Integration Engine menu, choose Administration → Manage Queues.

       2.      Select the required queues and register them.

       3.      To navigate to the message monitor for the Integration Engine, proceed as follows:

                            a.      To navigate to the qRFC monitor (QIN scheduler), choose QRFC Monitor.

                            b.      Select the required generic queue names and choose QRFC Monitor again.

                            c.      Select the queues to display.

                            d.      Select a particular queue by double-clicking the queue name.

                            e.      Select a queue entry (LUW) to display.

If the LUW processes individual messages (function module SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC), the messages are displayed in the monitor.

If the queue entry contains a message package (function module SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC_PACK), the monitor for message packages appears first. This lists the messages contained in the package. To navigate to the message monitor, double-click one of the displayed messages.

If the LUW processes an integration process (function module SWF_XI_MSG_RAISE_EVENT), a screen is displayed with information about the process definition, runtime, and settings for inbound processing of the process.
