Navigation
You use the function to change the Memory Objects Display. You use it to display the memory objects in different layouts and with different grouping.
You can hide and
display the navigation tree, by choosing
.
The display options are listed in a tree. When you select a node, the relevant list of memory objects is displayed in the Memory Objects Display.
The navigation tree can be divided into a set of main nodes, depending on the snapshot file content.
● If the snapshot was created as described in List of Memory Snapshots, it contains memory information for the internal session.
● If the program was attached to the shared memory by means of ABAP Shared Objects, additional branches for the individual shared memory areas can be displayed.
● If the memory snapshot was created using the Shared Memory Monitor (transaction code SHMM) for a single shared memory area, the snapshot contains a single main node for this area.
The content of the corresponding node can be displayed in one of the following ways:
● Ranking List
From the list, by deselecting the relevant checkbox, you can filter out the following objects:
○ Tables
○ Strings
○ Instances
○ Data Objects
● Ranking List by Type
From the list, by deselecting the relevant checkbox, you can filter out the following objects:
○ Tables
○ Strings
○ Classes
○ Data Object Types
● Tables
● Classes
● Programs
From the list of programs, by deselecting the relevant checkbox, you can filter out the following programs:
○ System Programs
○ Application Programs
● Expert
You can select to display one of the following:
○ System Memory
○ Memory Management
● Object Cycles (SCC)
For each group of memory objects, the system displays the number of objects in the group.
In the Memory Object dropdown box, you can choose to display (t_0), (t_1) or the difference between them.

To display
memory snapshot t_0 in the individual display,
choose
with the quick info text (t_0) Display.
●
To display
memory snapshot t_1 in the individual display,
choose
with the quick info text (t_1) Display.
●
To compare two
snapshots, choose
with the quick info text Display Difference.
