Configuring a Pool

Use

You must configure the adaptive pools to create a logical separation in the adaptive landscape. A pool is defined by a logical pool name which must be unique within an adaptive managed environment.

You can view the following details for the pools managed by ACC:

·        Pool name and description

·        Number of referenced resources for the pool

·        Number of referenced services for the pool

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Configuration from the navigation bar.

       2.      Choose Adaptive Computing Configuration → Pool & Network Configuration → Pool.

       3.      In the Pool & Network Configuration area, choose the relevant system pool.

       4.      If you want to add a new pool, choose Add.

       5.      Enter the pool name.

       6.      Enter the pool description.

The referencing resources and services are displayed.

       7.      If you want to modify the description of an existing pool, select the relevant and choose Edit to make the required changes.

       8.      Choose Save.

       9.      If you want to delete a pool, choose Delete.
