LUW in Update Records in SM58/SMQ1
The following status text appears in the tRFC Monitor (transaction SM58) or the qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue (SMQ1):
Transaction recorded (LUW with update records)
This status has remained the same for some time.
This status text appears when both the update task and tRFCs or qRFCs are called within the application LUW. The tRFCs or qRFCs are delayed until the V1 update is complete. The status of the tRFC or qRFC LUWs is then reset to READY, and the LUWs are executed.
● If the update process terminates, the tRFC and qRFC monitors cannot are unable to detect this.
● It is not possible to tell which update record belongs to which qRFC LUW.
● If the update record is deleted manually in transaction SM13 after an error, the tRFC LUWs and qRFC LUWs still have the status Transaction recorded (LUW with update records).
A relationship has therefore been established between the LUWs in the tRFC Monitor and qRFC Monitor and the update task. This guarantees that the status in the tRFC Monitor and qRFC Monitor is now updated. If an update is terminated, the status is switched from WAITUPDA to VBERROR. You can also go directly from the tRFC Monitor and qRFC Monitor to the terminated update task in transaction SM13.
To do this, you just have to double-click the error text. You can then examine the update task for the cause of the error.
If the update record is deleted in transaction
SM13, all related tRFC LUWs and qRFC LUWs are deleted from the tRFC and
qRFC tables.
