User Types 

There are two main scenarios for authentication and authorization.

·        Dialog users are required for interactive work with the PI tools.

·        Service users are used for the following:

¡        Internal Communication between the PI tools and the runtime components

¡        Message Exchange

All users are SAP standard users.
