How to sort attributes 

Use

You can sort the content of the Attributes tab, the Attributes dialog box, and the Attributes window in various ways.

 

Procedure

Using the pop-up menu

...

       1.      Right-click on the Attribute name column title.

       2.      Enable the check box in front of the desired sorting.

 

By clicking

The default order is sorting by method. The sort order is indicated by an icon.

To change the sort order, click on the column title on the Attributes tab or use the pop-up menus.

 

Result

With each click, the sort direction changes in the direction indicated below. If sorting by method is not logical for a column, only ascending and descending sort options are offered.

 

Sort by method		Sorts attributes by frequency of use and by association.
Sort ascending		Sorts attributes in ascending alphanumeric order.
Sort descending		Sorts attributes in descending alphanumeric order.
