Use

You can select an integration process from the Enterprise Services Repository and define it as a communication component in the Integration Directory.

Procedure

...

       1.      Decide how you want to address the integration process.

You have the following options:

       Address as a communication component independently of a party

Communication components without a party are typically used when configuring company-internal business processes (application-to-application processes).

       Address as communication component of a party

Parties (with assigned communication components) are typically used whenconfiguring cross-company business processes (business-to-business processes).

       2.      Call the Wizard for creating the integration process component.

Depending on the type of address you have chosen, proceed as follows:

As communication component without party

In the navigation area of the Integration Directory in the Communication Components subtree, position the cursor on Integration Service and in the context menu, choose New (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).

As a communication component of a party

Open the communication party.

Under Communication Components, in the toolbar choose New (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text)  Integration Process Component (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).

The system calls the Wizard.

       3.      Choose Continue.

All integration processes in the Enterprise Services Repository are displayed.

       4.      Select an integration process.

       5.      Choose Continue.

       6.      Enter the name of the integration process component in the Integration Directory.

Recommendation

You can use the name given to the integration process in the Enterprise Services Repository. However, choose a different name if you want to use the integration process in different configuration scenarios.

       7.      Choose Finish.

The integration process is created as a communication component in the Integration Directory.

You can now use the integration process as the sender or receiver of messages, or both.
