How to hide connections of overlapping objects 

Use

You can use implicit connections for overlapping objects. Implicit connections are not displayed in the model window.

Procedure

       1.      Place an object on another object. The Relationship dialog box opens. The check boxes of the relationships for which connections exist are enabled.

       2.      Select the check boy in the Hide column for the connections that are not to be displayed.

       3.      Click OK.

Result

Connections for existing relationships whose check boxes you have activated are no longer displayed in the model window. On the Relationships tab of the object properties, you can see that the relationship still exists.

If you drag an object from an object to which it has implicit connections into the free modeling area, the relationships between them are represented as connections.
