Background documentation Tasks (Integration Processes)  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

The administration of integration processes comprises the following tasks:

·        Archiving

To archive an integration process, follow the same procedure for archiving work items. The functions provided to archive work items also allow you to display the archived work items for a specific object. You can use these functions, for example, to display the archived integration process for a given message that was used to process the message.

·        Monitoring and Troubleshooting

You can use the general monitoring functions of usage type Process Integration (PI) for monitoring purposes. In addition, specific monitoring functions for integration processes are also available.

You can monitor the execution of integration processes by using the monitoring functions of the Business Process Engine.

When an integration process is executed, the system creates corresponding work items, just as it does during the execution of an SAP Business Workflow. You can display and analyze these in the workflow log.

As part of error analysis, you can check in the runtime cache whether the system can create a runtime version for an integration process.

·        Deleting Process Data No Longer Required

Using the RSWF_XI_INSTANCES_DELETE report, you can delete process data that is no longer required. This enables you to release the occupied memory. Execute this report regularly to reduce the amount of memory required. To avoid deleting data unintentionally, it is recommended that you first determine and check the data to be deleted by using the RSWF_XI_INSTANCES_SHOW report.
