Procedure documentation Monitoring PI Components  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

PI component monitoring in SAP NetWeaver Administrator gives you an overview of your current integration landscape. You can select and monitor each component in this landscape. The data required for this is provided by the System Landscape Directory and the components themselves.

Note

You can also use the Runtime Workbench to monitor PI components.

Prerequisites

You have started the SAP NetWeaver Administrator for PI on your Integration Server.

The systems in your integration landscape are displayed together with their domains. The different PI components are listed under each domain.

Procedure

To monitor a PI component, expand the relevant domain and select the required component.

Depending on the component selected, the following information is displayed:

Name of the host on which the component is based.

ID of the system (SID) on which the component is based.

       Release version of the component

Component instance in System Landscape Directory (SLD).

Primary owner of the component in SLD.

       Short description of the component.

Depending on the component you select, additional areas contain the following information:

Information about component availability, including details about component self-tests.

       Information about configuring the component.

A summary of the successfully and unsuccessfully processed messages, as well as scheduled messages.

To update the displayed information, choose Refresh.
