Procedure documentation SAP JRA Configuration    Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can manage the SAP JRA using NetWeaver Administrator. In particular, this is where you enter data for inbound and outbound communication with ABAP systems, such as Message Server, user name and password.

Prerequisites

You have successfully installed Java Application Server.

Procedure

       1.      Open NW Administrator in a browser window by entering the URL http://<Servername>:<Portname>.

       2.      Log on to NW Administrator.

       3.      Choose the SAP NetWeaver Administrator link.

       4.      On the upper menu bar, choose the Connection Management  Infrastructure Management and Application Resources links.

 

For the inbound configuration, proceed as follows:

 

       5.      In the upper selection field („Show“), choose All Resource Adapters.

       6.      Choose SAPJRATemplate and enter your required Resource Adapter instance (Resource Details).

       7.      Once you have made all the required settings, choose Save.

 

For the outbound configuration, proceed as follows:

 

       8.      In the upper selection field („Show“), choose All Connection Factories.

       9.      Choose the template for the JRA Connection Factories TemplateFactory and make the relevant settings (Resource Details) for each Connection Factory.

   10.      Once you have made all the required settings, choose Save.

 

Create a new Connection Factory:

 

   11.      Choose All JCA Resources and template TemplateFactory for JRA.

   12.      Choose your required SAP JRA instance.

   13.      In the lower screen area, choose Dependent JCA Connection Factories.

   14.      Select an existing Connection Factory and choose Copy & Add new JCA Connection Factory.

   15.      Configure the new Connection Factory with your required data and save your entries.
