Configuration of Transport Layer Security 

For transport layer security for communications that use standard Internet protocols such as HTTP, SAP NetWeaver supports the use of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. For SAP protocols such as DIAG or RFC, it supports Secure Network Communications (SNC).
