Procedure documentation Reporting Parameters and Versions

Use

You can use reporting for important TREX configuration parameters in a CCMS system. This includes the paths for indexes and the TREX version. Information such as the trace level and queue and index information (such as the size of the hard disk and languages) is available.

Procedure for the Configuration

...

    1.      Change the file TrexCCMS.ini in the directory <TREX_DIR>/exe/CCMS.

In the [INSTALLATION] section, change the entry directories= to the directory <TREX_DIR>.

Example

On Windows: C:\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\TRX<instance_number>

       2.      Change the SAPCCMSR configuration file sapccmsr.ini in the following directory:

     On Windows: <disk_drive>:\usr\sap\ccms\<SAPSID>_<trex_instance_number>/sapccmsr

     On UNIX: /usr/sap/ccms/<SAPSID>_<trex_instance_number>/sapccmsr

Add the entry PlugIn <TREX_DIR>\exe\TrexCCMS.dll. <TREX_DIR>\exe is the directory that the library TrexCCMS.dll is located in.

Example

PlugIn C:\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\TRX47\exe\TrexCCMS.dll

       3.      Restart the SAPCCMSR service.

Enter the following commands in a prompt to do this:

sapccmsr -stop (stops the service)

sapccmsr -DCCMS (starts the service)

Result

You can now start TREX parameter and version reporting in the CCMS monitor.
