Procedure documentation Exporting and Importing a Configuration  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can save the changes you have made in the system configuration by exporting them as an XML file. You can also export AS Java data from the database and import it later to restore the settings of the cluster element properties.

This procedure enables you to export the whole cluster data as well as a particular cluster element data, or just the instance “.properties” file.

Procedure

Start the Config Tool by double clicking the configtool script file in <SAP_install_dir>/<system_name>/<instance_name>/j2ee/configtool directory.

       2.      Choose the directory, where you want to save the XML file.

       3.      Enter a name for the XML file.

       4.      Choose OK.
