Implementation Considerations

As mentioned under Technical System Landscape, the XML DAS is part of the Application Server JAVA and serves JAVA XML-based archiving scenarios.

To be able to use the XML DAS and the XML DAS Administration, you must carry out several configuration steps. For more information see the Configuration Guide under Data Archiving.

JAVA

The configuration for the JAVA scenario takes place in the following steps:

●      Components and Deployment Scenarios

●      Creating users

●      Creating a destination

●      Configuring the XML Data Archiving Service

○       Creating Home Paths

○       Assigning Archive Store(s)
