This graphic is explained in the accompanying text How do I identify a model that is read-only?  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You can open a model that is being edited by other users. The model will open in read-only mode. This means that you cannot change the graphic properties of the model, i.e. you cannot move the objects, connections etc. or change the colors or line weights of objects or connections.

However, you can open Attribute Editing and e.g. change the names of objects.

If you try to edit a read-only model by clicking on the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text button, you will receive the message that this model is currently being edited.
