Application-to-Application Processes with Web Services

If you develop A2A processes with Web service consumers or providers as the communication parties, you must adhere to the programming guidelines for the different interface patterns that are available. The patterns for direct communication scenarios (point-to-point) are described in Providing, Discovering and Consuming Services.

Note, however, that the configuration of A2A scenarios involving the Integration Server is different to the configuration of point-to-point scenarios.
