Printing with Print Options
Use
Subject to certain prerequisites, you can select additional print options for printing SAPscript and SAP Smart Forms documents. This is also the case for spool requests in the Output Controller (transaction SP01) that are generated with a suitably-equipped output device.

Prerequisites
The output device
that you select to print the document must be assigned an object type that
supports additional print options. If this is the case, there is an additional button in the print
dialog, 
Additional Options, with which you can
select possible option values. In the Output Controller, first select the
spool request and choose (Print with changed parameters). In the
subsequent dialog box, you can select or change print options by choosing the
Additional Options button, and output the spool
request with these options.
Procedure
You can select print options both in the print dialog box and in the Output Controller. The example relates to the printing of a SAPscript text. The procedure for Smart Forms is similar.
In the print
dialog, select a suitable output device and press the enter key. The Additional Options button
is display (screen 1).

If you choose the button, a second selection screen (screen 2) opens. Double-click the option that you want to use for printing, and select the desired option value.
Note that options can also be preset. This
means that the end user does not have a choice, but rather must use the option
value that has been set by the SPAD administrator in the print options. In
this case, although the option is displayed, the user cannot select it, and
the system indicates that the “Option value is locked by the
administrator”.

If you have
selected or changed an option value, double-click the next option, and proceed
in the same way. Once you have set the desired option values, choose 
and start the print process.
