Procedure documentationReimporting Data Objects Locate this document in the navigation structure

When data objects have been changed in the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE), you must reimport them to ensure that your client data objects are up to date.

Prerequisites

You have imported a data object model in the project.

Procedure

  1. In the Laptop UI explorer, click the model element with the secondary mouse button and choose Reimport Model.

The Reimport Model wizard starts, displaying:

    • The SWCV that you selected during model import; this field is noneditable during model reimport

    • All data objects in the selected SWCV

  2. Select or deselect the data objects, as required.

    Note Note

When you reimport a data object model, it is likely that an inconsistency exists between the classes in the model and the data objects in the data object repository.

    End of the note.
  3. To perform a consistency check between the existing and new models, select Perform Consistency Check.

    Recommendation Recommendation

We recommend that you select this option during a model reimport.

    End of the recommendation.
  4. Choose Next.

The IDE displays the changes that are effective after reimporting the data objects.

  5. Choose Finish.
