Procedure documentationCreating the SWCV Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

You create the software component version (SWCV) for storing versions of data object definitions and distribution models that you create later in the tutorial. An SWCV is required before you create data objects.

Procedure

  1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Application Server and choose   Data Orchestration Engine   Development   Data Orchestration Workbench  .

  2. Choose Create SWCV.

  3. Enter the following details in the appropriate fields:

    Field name

    Value

    Name

    Sample

    Vendor

    Example.org

    Version

    1.0

    1. Choose Save.

    2. Choose Local Object.

      Note Note

      You save it as a local object because this is meant for a tutorial, and this is not imported to a productive landscape.
