Procedure

The following table explains the operations that you can perform on a data object node.

Displaying a node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Display.

Displays the details of the node.

Modifying a data object node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Change.

Allows you to modify an exiting node.

Adding a child node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Add a Child Node.

Adds a new child node under an existing node.

Viewing associations

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose View Associations.

Allows you to view the associations that are defined for a particular node.

Deleting a node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Delete.

Deletes the node along with the node attributes and node associations (if any).

Copying a data object node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Copy Node.

Allows you to copy a node to a target data object within the same software component version or a different software component version.
