Configuring Queue Refresh 

Use

In the production environment, if the data objects are sync enabled, it can have an impact on performance. Therefore, you can configure the behavior of queue refresh when a device connects to the data orchestration engine (DOE) to synchronize data.

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Administration.

       2.      Under Device Management, choose Device Administration.

       3.      Under Search Devices, enter the required search criteria and choose Go.

       4.      From the search results, choose the required device.

       5.      In the Operations screen area, choose Configure Refresh Queue.

       6.      Under Select the Configuration, select from the following options:

Option	Description
Asynchronously	The extract is triggered asynchronously, which means that the device may not receive the complete data during that particular synchronization cycle.
Synchronously	The extract is triggered asynchronously, which means that the device receives the complete data during that particular synchronization cycle.
Don’t Refresh Queue	The extract is not triggered automatically when the device connects to the DOE. You need to manually trigger the extract.

If you select either asynchronously or synchronously, then you also specify whether the extract must be triggered for all the data objects or selected data objects.

       7.      Select All Data Objects or Selected Data Objects.

       8.      Choose Save.
