Creating a Device Profile of Type Framework 

Use

A device profile of type framework contains client configuration information, such as DB cache size, DB log size, path for client installation, and so on. Therefore, to ensure that this information is transferred to devices, you must create a device profile of type framework and assign it to the required devices.

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Administration.

       2.      Under Device Management, choose Device Profile Administration

       3.      In the Search Results screen area, choose  Create Device Profile.

       4.      In the Device Profile Name field, enter a name for the device profile.

       5.      In the Description field, enter a description for the device profile.

       6.      In the Device Profile Type field, select FRAMEWORK from the dropdown list.

       7.      Choose Create.

After you have created the device profile, you can change the client configurations based on your requirements.
