Use

You want to navigate in transaction SMQS.

Procedure

In transaction SMQS; you have the following menu options under Registration Table:

Print

Prints the displayed page.

Reorganize

Deletes all registrations. This does not affect the content of the tRFC/qRFC.

Exit

Exits the Schedule Monitor.

Under Edit, you have the following menu options:

Choose

Choose an entry to navigate to a particular destination (SM59). You can use Test Connection to test the connection.

Registration

This function corresponds to the Registration button. Register a destination so that the Scheduler can call the registered tRFC/qRFCs.

Register without Activation

Register a destination without starting the Scheduler.

Deregister

Deregister the selected destination. The registered destination is not processed by the QOUT Scheduler. The collected LUWs remain in the queue. This enables you to collect single LUWs in the queue and analyze them (for example, debugging a single LUW).

Exclusive

A destination can be excluded from QOUT Scheduler processing, and is therefore no longer processed by the QOUT Scheduler. The LUW is then processed by the tRFC Manager at the time of the “COMMITWORK”. The processing for LUWs of this destination then occurs on any application server of the system.

Delete

Delete the selected registration entry. You can also use the trash can icon in the top left hand corner for the same purpose. The registered destination is deleted. If a tRFC or qRFC still runs using this destination, the system recreates the destination.   Prerequisite for this is that the logon data must be complete for the destination SM59: language, client, user, and password must be entered. The target system must not be NONE or Space.

Change AS Group

The Scheduler starts a server group for processing LUWs. The application server group used is displayed in the third column. If the name of the application server group has been changed (#DEFAULT), ensure that the server group exists in transaction RZ12.

Activate Scheduler

Start the Scheduler. The last start time is displayed in the second line in the top left corner. The status in the top line changes throughout the runtime. The status is now Active.

Change View

Displays the status of the Scheduler.

Cancel

Ends the transaction.

Under Goto, you have the following menu options:

QRFC Administration

Navigate to the menu for starting qRFC events.

Back

Return to the Session Manager.
