Procedure documentation Restarting Blocked Queues  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You want to restart blocked queues.

Prerequisites

A serious error has occurred while processing an LUW, and the relevant queue has the status SYSFAIL or ANORETRY. The status is displayed in SMQ1. This queue is not automatically started by the QOUT Scheduler.

A queue can also be blocked by status message STOP.

Procedure

Once you have solved the problem, you can either call transaction SMQ1 or navigate from SMQS to the outbound queue to reset the status of the individual queues.

Note Note that the qRFC itself never blocks a queue. If you discover status STOP in SMQ1, this status has been set by a qRFC application or by an authorized user in SMQ1 The QOUT Scheduler is only reactivated if the block is removed by the application in use, or by transaction SMQ1. If a queue is blocked for a long time with status STOP, and you are sure that the queue has not been manually blocked by SMQ1, check the application in question.

Result

The QOUT Scheduler restarts the queues in question. These can be processed once the cause of the error has been removed.
