Installing the Package on a Different Disk Partition 

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Procedure

            ...

       1.      Under Device Management, choose Device Profile Administration.

       2.      Search for the device profile of type framework that you created.

       3.      From the search results, choose the device profile.

       4.      Under Device Profile Operations, choose Manage Client Configuration.

       5.      Under Configuration For Setup Package Installables, choose Path for Client Installation.

       6.      Choose Edit/Display.

       7.      Enter the path where you want to install the mobile client.

MaxDB gets installed in the drive that has the Windows folder.

       8.      Under Mobile Components Configuration, choose Add.

       9.      In the Mobile Component field, enter or select the JRE from the list.

   10.      In the Silent Commandline/Copy Location field, enter the following path:

/qn ADDLOCAL=ALL IEXPLORER=1 INSTALLDIR=<Drive:>\java\jre

   11.      Choose Add.

   12.      In the Mobile Component field, enter or select the MASSDEVICESETUP_WIN32|71XXXX from the list.

   13.      In the Silent Commandline/Copy Location field, enter the drive where you want the MassDeviceSetup.exe to unpack itself. For example, D:\mds.

   14.      Choose Save.

You must restart the client after setup is complete.
