Assigning Filters to a Channel 

Use

You can filter data that is sent to all devices of a channel. You can define filters based on SWCVs, data objects and message types. Moreover, you can define exclusive or inclusive filters, that is, you can exclude a particular SWCV, data object or message from the list available, or choose to include them all.

Prerequisites

You have administrator rights on the Data Orchestration Engine.

Procedure

...

       1.      Log on to SAP NetWeaver AS, and choose Data Orchestration Engine  → Administration → Device Management  → Channel Administration  → Channel Administration.

       2.      Search and select the required channel.

       3.      Under Operations, choose Manage Filters.

       4.      Based on your requirement, select the filter category and filter types.

       5.      Choose Save.
