Creating a Variant for Scheduling Background Jobs 

Use

A variant allows you to define conditions based on which you can schedule background jobs. You need to create individual variants for each background job you want to schedule based on your business requirements.

Procedure

...

       1.      Log on to the SAP NetWeaver AS and start transaction SDOE_BG_JOB_MONITOR.

       2.      Expand the required job.

       3.      Double-click schedule job.

       4.      Choose Job Scheduling  → Create Variant.

       5.      Enter data as required.

       6.      Choose Save.
