You can define which data is to be copied to the target clients before copying takes place. Copy profiles are available for this purpose. These profiles simplify the selection and combination of the components to be copied.

Overview of copy profiles

SAP delivers the following copy profiles, among others:

SAP_USER

Users, user roles, and authorization profiles are copied. The client is not reset.

The profiles derived from this (for example, SAP_CUSV = SAP_CUST with variants) behave in the same way with regard to the data categories User, Customizing, and Application data, as well as the corresponding address data.
