Extracting Data for Multiple Devices 

Use

If the data objects associated with a set of devices are not enabled for synchronization, then you must extract data manually for these devices in the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

Normally, all the data objects in the production environment are normally sync enabled. In the test environment, you may not sync enable some of the data objects for test purposes. For example, you want to count the number of data object instances that are transferred to a set of devices when you trigger data extract for the devices. In this case, you must not set the status of the data objects associated with the specified devices as sync enabled.

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Procedure

       1.      Choose Administration.

       2.      Under Device Management, choose Device Administration.

       3.      Under Search Devices, enter the required search criteria and choose Go.

       4.      From the search results, select the required devices.

       5.      Choose Trigger Extract.

The system triggers the data extract for the selected devices.
