Comparing the Contents of a Message 

Use

If during the processing of a message, an error occurs and the message is not processed by the DOE, you can reprocess the same from the message store. In this case, before you reprocess the message, you may have to compare the content of the message in the message store with the content of the corresponding message in the CDS. You can compare the content for each node in the message structure. Based on the results of the comparison, you may have to modify the message.

You can compare the contents of update and delete messages only.

Prerequisites

You have searched for the required messages by using the simple or advanced search option.

Procedure

       1.      Select the required message and choose View Message.

The structure of the message appears in the form of a tree view.

       2.      Choose the required node from the message structure.

The contents of the message appear on the right along with the contents of the corresponding message in the CDS. In addition, if the message is modified by any of the services, then the modified message content is also displayed. As a result, you can compare the message in the message store with the corresponding message in the CDS. You can then modify the message in the message store if required, before you reprocess the message.
