Time-Dependent Communication Data 

The BAS offers you the option of assigning a restricted validity period to communication data. For this purpose, the interfaces of the BAS modules and the dialog functions have been enhanced.

These functions are completely downward-compatible. If an application does not want time-dependent maintenance of communication data, no changes to the existing code are required.

This new function enables the time-dependent maintenance of the communication data only, and not of the whole address.

If an application wants an address to have a restricted validity period, the application has to save this information in its tables, and transfer the information at a suitable point in the dialog. For more information, see Modules in Dialog Maintenance.

For technical reasons, time-dependent maintenance of the communication types Secure Store and Forwarding and URL/Homepage is not possible.
