Use

To set up SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator as a portal based tool, you must import the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) portal content into the Enterprise Portal.

Prerequisites

·        You have applied SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SPS 11 on Enterprise Portal.

      You have created a system in the Enterprise Portal.

Note

When you are creating the system, you must specify UDPIW and admin,user for the Logon Method and User Mapping Type system properties respectively.

      You have tested the connection to the system you created.

      The relevant portal content is available.

Note

The portal content is in the form of an .epafile and is available in the NWMADMIN.scafile. You can copy the NWMADMIN.sca file from the installation CD or DVD, or you can download it from the SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/swdc. Choose the following path: Download    Support Packages and Patches  Entry by Application Group  SAP NetWeaver  SAP NETWEAVER  SAP NETWEAVER MOBILE 7.1 NW MOBILE CLIENT SETUP 7.10.

To locate the .epa file, unzip NWMADMIN.sca   sap.com~tc~mobile~admin~portal~_comp~dcia.zip  java.ppa

       1.      Log on to the Enterprise Portal as an administrator.

       2.      Choose System Administration  Transport  Transport Packages Import.

       3.      Under Source Package Files, choose Client.

       4.      Navigate to the location that contains the contents of tc/mobile/admin/portal DC.

This location must contain the Enterprise Portal Archive (.epa file).The file name is in the form: com.sap.mmw._admin_mon_tp_20060406_013719.epa where the time stamp can change.

       5.      Select the file and choose Upload.

       6.      After the file is loaded, choose Import.

After the import is complete, the content is available in the tab page Content Administration Portal Content.

After you setup the mobile administrator portal, the required portal users need to be created and assigned the Admin role, which is available as part of the .epa file. These users can then log in to the mobile administrator portal and perform the required tasks.
