Transfer the measurement results to SAP:

  • If you are only using one SAP installation, transfer the measurement results directly to SAP.

  • If you are using multiple SAP installations, first consolidate the measurement results in the License Administration Workbench. Then send the consolidated result to SAP.

Receipt Confirmation for the Measurement Results

You can choose to receive an e-mail confirmation that your measurement results have been received.

To do this, maintain your e-mail address on the Addresses tab page.

As soon as the measurement results are received by SAP AG; an e-mail is automatically sent to the stored address.

Transferring Results with SDCC

As of SAP Web Application Server 6.10, you can transfer the measurement results online using the Service Data Control Center (SDCC) procedure. For previous SAP releases as of SAP R/3 4.0B (inclusive), the SDCC procedure is available through Support Packages (see SAP Note 314672).

Prerequisites

  • At least version 2.1 of the SDCC is available in your system.

  • For releases up to and including SAP R/3 4.6B, you require the authorization profile S_SDCC_SERVI.

Procedure

To transfer the measurement data to SAP online, proceed as follows:

  1. On the initial screen of the measurement program (transaction USMM), choose Transfer to SAP.

  2. Confirm the prompt.

In the status bar, the system displays the message that the transfer has been successfully scheduled. The SDCC session number is specified in the long text of this message.

  3. To check the status of your transfer, choose All Transfers on the initial screen of the measurement program.

The system displays the status of all measurements. The SDCC session number of the transfer uniquely identifies the transferred measurement results. This number is useful if you need to analyze a problem. You can perform the problem analysis in SDCC (transaction SDCC or, for releases up to and including SAP R/3 4.6C:   Environment   Service Data Control Center  ).
