Registration of Mobile Device Fails (Error Code 22) 

Problem

The registration of a device on which you manually installed the mobile client may fail and you may repeatedly encounter error code 22.

This scenario is not valid for devices that are set up with setup packages.

Analysis

This error occurs when there is no logical device on the DOE, which satisfies the registration criteria required to register the device. To resolve this, perform the following steps:

...

       1.      Start transaction SODE_DEV_REGISTER and check the configured registration criteria

       2.      Check if there is an enabled, unregistered device on the DOE with the same values for the registration criteria as specified in the Mobile Client.

       3.      If no such device is present, create a device with all the matching criteria and synchronize from the Mobile Client again.
