Deploying and Administering
NetWeaver Voice utilizes the capabilities of NetWeaver Lifecycle Management and its support for clustered environments. Thus, you can deploy and administer voice applications using standard NetWeaver utilities.
This IT process is part of the following IT scenario:
IT Scenario |
Scenario Variant |
You have completed the IT process Modeling Voice Application.
1. Compile model (VC Voice Kit).
You compile and publish your model using the NetWeaver Visual Composer. The system compiles a Voice Dialog describing how the voice application will interact with the caller .
2. Deploy generated application (VC Voice Kit).
You deploy the SCA file generated during publishing to the local server or download it for later deployment using NetWeaver Developer Studio or other NetWeaver supported deployment utility. A voice-specific Deployment Container is installed as a NetWeaver Service when deploying the NetWeaver Voice Runtime component.
3. Stop and start applications (VC Voice Kit).
The J2EE engine accesses the Deployment Container to execute the administrative functions deploy, undeploy, start, and stop.
4. Associate phone number with voice application (third-party voice gateway).
A phone number needs to be associated with your voice application's server.
You have carried out the deployment and administration steps. Continue with the IT process Configuring Logging and Reporting.
