Configuring Voice Landscape
Purpose
In this process you configure the voice landscape.

Prerequisites
You have installed the SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
Process Flow

1. Configure the SAP NetWeaver App Server for voice use (AS Java Voice Runtime).
You need to configure the Application Server (AS JAVA) to communicate with the back end.
2. Install Voice Kit (Visual Composer Voice Kit).
You use the Visual Composer Voice Kit to model your voice-enabled application.
3. Configure gateway (third-party voice gateway).
Your voice-enabled application communicates with the caller through a third-party gateway.
4. Configure SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (if applicable).
The SAP NetWeaver 2004S BI can provide sophisticated reporting facilities (BI Voice Runtime).
Result
You have configured the voice landscape and can proceed to the Modeling Voice Application process.
