Deploying Mobile Components to Data Orchestration Engine 

Use

Mobile component is defined as a component that is relevant for a mobile device. Mobile components can be classified as follows:

·        Applications to be installed on the device

·        A framework to be installed on the device

·        A database to be installed on the device

·        Add-ons, patches, or upgrades to be deployed on the device

·        Agents to be deployed on the device

To setup mobile devices, you must install/deploy mobile components on them. This ensures that the mobile users can perform operations on the SAP NetWeaver Mobile client.

Procedure

Mobile components can be deployed to the Data Orchestration Engine using one of the following methods:

·        Deploying mobile components to the mobile container of the Java EE 5 Engine. This is done by configuring the JRA connections of the Java EE 5 Engine.
