Procedure documentation Downloading Authorizations into User-Authorization Data Object  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

After assigning authorizations to users in the back end or in the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE), you must download these authorizations into the User Authorization data object.

To download the authorizations from the back end, you must first:

      Activate the back-end search

      Specify the back-end destinations

Prerequisites

You have administrator rights on the DOE.

Procedure

       1.      To activate back-end search, log on to the NetWeaver AS and choose Mobile Configuration Backend Configuration.

The Parameter Configuration window appears.

                            a.      Select parameter AUTH_DWLD_BE_DEST.

If you want to download the authorizations that are created in the DOE, you must leave this field blank.

If you want to download the authorizations for the users from multiple backend systems, do the following:

                                                  i.       In the Parameter List, choose Change and in the Text Value field, enter the RFC destination name, from where you want to download the authorizations for the user.

                                                ii.       In case you want to download from multiple destinations, in the Text Value field enter the destination value and in the left field, enter a unique number.

                            b.      Choose Save.

       2.      To download authorization details into the User Authorization data object, start transaction SDOE_LOAD.

       3.      Enter the following details for data object selection

Software Component

Select the Software Component Version SAP BASIS from the list.

Data Object

Select the USER_AUTHORIZATION_MBO data object from the list. If you do not find this data object, then you can search for the USER_AUTHORIZATION data object.

       4.      Select Initial Download as the Load Type
