Procedure documentation Monitoring Client Device Logs  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The information about the various operations that are performed on a client device is stored in the log and trace files. These files are maintained in the XML file format on the client. These files are sent to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) when the client synchronizes data with the DOE. The DOE converts the data present in these files to a format it understands and stores this data in the monitoring framework. In addition, the DOE analyzes the data of these files and if it encounters any errors or inconsistencies, a message is sent to the administrators inbox as an alert. Based on the information in the inbox, you can search for the required log and trace files and rectify the errors or inconsistencies.
