Modifying the Attributes of a Device 

Use

You can view or edit the values of the attributes of a device based on your requirements.

Prerequisites

·        You have created a device.

·        You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Administration.

       2.      Under Device Management, choose Device Administration.

       3.      Under Search Devices, enter the required search criteria and choose Go.

       4.      From the Search Results, choose the required device.

The system displays the details of the device, such as:

¡        The single and multi valued custom attributes of the device

¡        Users, device profiles, mobile components, agents, distribution model software components assigned to the device

Under Device Status, the system provides information related to the current status of the device. In addition, you can view the outbound queue, disc sync, and subscription details.

       5.      Under Operations, choose Manage Device Attributes.

       6.      Under Assign Device Attributes, modify the required attribute values and choose Save.

       7.      Under Assign custom attributes to a device:

                            a.      For single valued attributes, modify the required attribute values and choose Save.

                            b.      For multi valued attributes, select the required customizing group and choose View and edit values.

                                                  i.       Add, delete, or modify the attribute values.

                                                ii.       Choose Save.
