This procedure provides information on the activities that you need to perform to ensure that devices are reassigned from one DOE server to another.
You have enabled the required devices for reassignment.

1. Log on to the DOE and choose Data Orchestration Engine → Data Orchestration Admin and Monitoring Portal.
2. From the left part of the screen, choose Operations Handbook.
3. Choose Device Reassignment.
4. Choose Create Drag.
You must configure the DRG by specifying the configuration template that you want to use to archive the data in the source DOE server.

a. A name for the group
b. A description for the group
c. The target DOE server
2. In Configuration Template field, select the required configuration template from the list. The following table explains the available configuration templates:

3. Choose Save.

1. Enter the required search criteria and choose Go.
The device details along with the data objects that the device has subscribed are displayed.
You can add devices or delete the devices from the list. To do this, choose Modify and proceed accordingly. In this case, you must save your changes and then choose Next.

You must stop the upload of data from the selected devices.
Select the required devices and choose Stop Upload.
The notification is sent to the required devices when they synchronize. You can proceed with reassignment of the selected devices only after you receive an acknowledgement from the selected devices. However, if you do not want to wait for an acknowledgement to proceed with the reassignment, then you can choose Manually Acknowledge Stop Upload. After you receive an acknowledgement from devices or you manually acknowledge stop upload, the notification status changes from Stop Upload Pending to Stop Upload Acknowledged.
You must create a job to archive the data for the devices that need to be reassigned. You can start the archiving immediately or you can a schedule a job.

1. Log on to the DOE and start transaction SDOE_DT.
2. Choose Device Reassignment Export.
3. In the Choose Download Option field, select the required download option from the drop-down list.
You can choose Download via Disc or Download via Network. If you choose to download via disc, you are required to enter the path where you want to store the archive file along with the size of the media that stores the archive file. In addition, after the DRG is exported, you need to explicitly import the archive file in the target DOE server. However, if you choose to download via network, you do not have to specify the path and media size details. Also, you do not have to explicitly import the archive file.
4. To encrypt the file, select Encrypt.
5. To attach a digital signature, select Sign.
6. Choose Select DRG.
7. Enter the required search criteria and choose Show DRG.
8. Select the DRG and choose Download.
