Creating an Agent 

Use

You must create an agent if you want to set or obtain values of specific attributes of a client device. For example, you can use an agent to automatically update the date and time of a device based on the time zone of its location.

Prerequisites

You have logged on to the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Administration.

       2.      Under Agents Administration, choose Agents Administration.

       3.      Under Agent Information, choose Create.

       4.      In the Agent ID field, enter an ID for the agent.

       5.      Enter the required language (two letter short code) or choose the icon next to the field to select the language from the list.

§         The description of the agent is stored in the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) in the language you specify.

■       You can also choose F4 to select the language from the list.

       6.      Enter a description for the agent.

       7.      Choose Create.
