Procedure documentation Configuring Synchronization Settings  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Either you or your administrator can configure synchronization settings on the client device. Synchronization settings specify the parameters to connect to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) and the protocol to be used for synchronization.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The supported protocols are:

·         HTTP

·         HTTPS (for secure data transmission)

·         Data Carrier Synchronization

This is used when connection to the DOE is not available or not possible. Data is transferred using storage devices such as floppy discs, CDs, DVDs, and USB drives. You can move the devices physically between the client device and either the DOE or another device that is connected to the DOE.
