Create a new Eclipse launch configuration with Emulator support 

Use

This procedure allows the developer to create a copy of a selected Eclipse launch configuration with added parameters and libraries that enable the use of the Peripheral I/O Emulator.

 

Prerequisites

An Eclipse launch configuration for an application requiring peripheral support must be created and tested prior to creating a new copy with support for the Emulator.

 

Procedure

1.       Open the Emulator Launch Configurations Manager window.

2.       Select the Eclipse launch configuration that requires the Emulator support to be added from the list shown.

3.       Write the desired name for the new launch configuration copy which will have Emulator support included and click on the Save button.

4.       The new launch configuration should appear on the list indicating that it has been created.

 

Result

A new Eclipse launch configuration with Emulator support has been created based on the selected base configuration and it can now be used and ran on the default SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio environment.
