Configuring the Connection Settings 

Use

The connection settings are a prerequisite for connecting to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

Procedure

From the...

       1.      From the Menu, choose Manage Device → Settings → Connection Settings.

       2.      In the Connection Settings view, maintain these fields:

If you do not have the connection data, contact your administrator.

○       Host

Enter the address of the host.

¡        Port

Enter the port number of the host.

¡        Client

Enter the name of you client.

¡        Device name

Enter the name of your device.

       3.      Select Secure connection (https), if you require a secure connection.

We recommend that you select the Secure connection (https) to maintain data security.

       4.      Click Save.
