Building the Mobile Application 

Use

You need to build the Mobile Application before it can be deployed.

Procedure

If you are using the Mobile Application for composition of the developed components, proceed as follows:

       1.      In the Application Explorer, select your application.

       2.      From the context menu, choose Build.

The system will automatically determine all components that are dependent on your application component. The system will propose that you to build these components before building the Mobile Application. You can select or deselect any components in your project.

If you are not using a Mobile Application for composition, proceed as follows:

...

       1.      In the Handhelds UI Explorer, select your UI component.

       2.      In the context menu, choose Development Component → Build.

If you are using several UI components that interact through component interfaces, you need to select the highest UI component in your component hierarchy, that is the UI component, on which no other component is dependent.

Result

You have built a Handheld Application. It is ready for deployment to the Mobile Client for Handhelds.
