Deploying and Running Your Application 

Use

After creating the service, modeling the UI for this service, and defining the dependencies among the components, you can deploy and run the application.

Prerequisites

You have:

●      Created a Mobile Service Component, a Mobile UI Component, and a Mobile Application

●      Defined all dependencies

●      Defined the start-up application

●      Built the application components

Procedure

1. Deploy the Application

In the Application Explorer, choose Deploy from the context menu.

2. Run the Application

       1.      In the Application Explorer, choose Run As → Mobile Application from the context menu.

The Mobile Client for Handhelds (desktop client) appears on your screen.

       2.      Log onto the client:

For the tutorial application, the Username is 1; the Password is 1.

You can use the menu to change your user settings and password.

       3.      Select and launch the Employee database application you created:
